Corporate Social Responsibility & Impact
Driving sustainable value for communities, farmers, and the environment
At Gaute Fresh we believe that true success goes beyond business, it is about uplifting the communities we work with, and we are committed to contributing to societal transformation and the economic development of the communities we serve. That is why we proudly contribute to the Family Empowerment Network Community Enterprise projects and Gaute Fresh Organic Farm in Northern Uganda.
Through this partnership, we support Toots to Riches project for Youth and women that strengthen families, provide opportunities for education, and enhance livelihoods, and promote long-term economic development and sustainability. By investing in these community-driven projects, and working hand in hand with the community, we aim to empower people to build brighter futures and drive positive changes for generations to come.

CSR
Alignment with Global Goals
Our impact is guided by globally recognised frameworks that speak a shared language of responsibility. In alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Zero Hunger, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Responsible Consumption, and Climate Action, we invest in systems that strengthen smallholder livelihoods while safeguarding food security and market integrity. Through skills transfer, fair access to markets, and ethical sourcing, we contribute to resilient rural economies where growth is inclusive and dignity of labour is upheld.
Equally, our commitment to Fair Trade and environmental standards anchors every stage of our value chain. We promote responsible farming practices that protect soil, water, and biodiversity, while ensuring traceability, safety, and fairness for producers and consumers alike. By integrating sustainability into daily operations rather than treating it as an obligation, we ensure that every figure behind our impact counters reflects not just volume, but values that endure beyond the harvest.

Roots to Riches Women & Youth Project
20 Support Team
Roots to Riches is a project for Women and Youth initiated by FENET International and Gaute Fresh in Partnership with Family Empowerment Network Community Enterprise (CBO), Amuru District, Northern Uganda.
The Gaute Farm Support Team play a pivotal role in advancing community-based agricultural development. This dedicated team of 20 support team including a farm manager, youth leaders, women leaders, and trainee extension workers from Kitgum, Amuru, Gulu, and Lira districts provides farmers with hands-on support through field assistance, training, mobilization, and the adoption of improved agricultural practices.
The team acts as a vital link between farmers and the Gaute Fresh technical staff, assisting with production monitoring, record keeping, quality compliance, and group coordination. Through practical training and leadership development, the project empowers young people and women to actively engage in the fresh-produce value chain, making farming attractive to women and youth, building skills, creating employment opportunities, creating generational wealth and promoting sustainable livelihoods within their communities through smart farming.
